Benefits of analytical testing

I feel that in order to improve athletes performance we must have a dedicated database that displays improvements over time(bi-monthly), more specifically Lactate threshold, would contain key training markers for performance progression.


Metabolic testing

Metabolic tests measure the rate at which your body burns calories during different activities. During a typical assessment at your health club, I will measure your resting metabolic rate (RMR) and your metabolic rate during various intensities of exercise. In most cases, the numbers are then assembled into a personalized exercise program tailored to improve your specific metabolic profile and help you to lose weight.


Vo2 testing

Fitness can be measured by the volume of oxygen you can consume while exercising at your maximum capacity. VO2 max is the maximum amount of oxygen in millilitres, one can use in one minute per kilogram of body weight. Those who are fit have higher VO2 max values and can exercise more intensely than those who are not as well conditioned.


Lactate Threshold Test

The lactate threshold(which represents applied aerobic power) is the single biggest driver of success in endurance events and the main factor that needs emphasis in training for distance events. This test measures aerobic power and through that aerobic capacity
